Don't fake it

I am trying not to be too corny here...from when I started abandoning blogging I don't have a clue but it is June 2011 now and I am probably typing my very first 2011 entry? (It turns out this is the 2nd entry of the year!!) 

Life is treating me well, as usual. As a typical capricorn I tend to be introvert and I see it as one of my biggest weaknesses... it is not that I don't communicate well with others, it is that I can easily tell whether someone and I can get along ....and then I avoid those who seem to dislike me (or whom I dislike?)...I do have a bit jealousy towards those who can be friends with everyone, fake it or not that's an ability not to be given but to be trained and developed when you grow up...

Malcolm Gladwell's words once again inspired me in this chilly Winter night "You could get what you wanted by faking it, but then you would never know whether it was you or the bit of fakery that made the difference. You ran the risk of losing sight of who you really were." - and I will strive not to lose sight of who I am. If some promises are to be kept forever this one will always make my list.

Althought busy with work life, I have started reading again...first Malcolm Gladwell's "Outliers" then "What the Dog saw", and a few other Chinese books and I feel content. There are lots of distractions in life but at least I've picked up something worth my time again.

We took the Bronze Medal

Okay, I missed the match. I slept over and when I suddenly woke up it was 7.00am in Melbourne, but it is glad to know that we beat Uruguay 3-2 with my beloved Muller scored the first goal.

I also spent some time to read through the comments from fans all over the world. Yes, I am feeling the same! I am proud of you the German team, and I am looking forward to the Euro2012 and FIFA2014. There are many more years to come for these youngsters and they are yet to shine! One more thing, Muller, please, please don't join the EPL! Don't ever join the English Premier League! (This is just my personal bias, see how overrated those EPL super stars are...and Ballack...I love Ballack though.)
